Training Update

12/07/2020

The Club Committee have met to discuss the SFA guidelines issued on Friday 10th July regarding a safe and confident return to training and how we facilitate this as a club. We are all keen for players to return to football however we must ensure this is as safe an environment as possible and in strict accordance with Scottish Government guidelines and SFA advice.

There are 2 key points which are fundamental to  allowing any return to training.

First is the availability of facilities and we are in discussions with our venues and providers regarding this and hope to have confirmation as soon as possible.

Secondly is the appointment of a Covid Coordinator on the recommendation of the SFA which is required to ensure  guidelines and best practice are adhered to by coaches, players and members. The requirements of the role are outlined in the "Phase 3: Return to Training Guidelines" circulated to all coaches on Friday 10th July and available to view at the following  link:

We therefore need a volunteer to perform this role and have asked all coaches to please advise as soon as possible if they are willing to undertake this. This is critical before the Club can permit ANY return to training.

The Club Committee are working tirelessly to ensure a safe, confident and positive return to training as soon as possible and thank you for your patience. We acknowledge that you may have questions associated with this and would ask that you speak with your child's coach in the first instance.

In the meantime please stay safe and we will update as soon as we have more information.

Thanks

Duloch Juniors Club Committee
